In 2002, the Cindy and Jim Habel offered to help make a difference in the life of a child by donating a percentage of their annual sales to The Bridge. They have been faithful in the contributions since and have donated enough funds to offer services to more than 500 child victims in the Panhandle community. How incredible to touch the lives of so many children!
They own and operate America’s Best Thrift Store, where they turn items discarded by others into treasured opportunities for children in need. In addition to their financial contribution, they provide vouchers for low-income families coming through The Bridge to come into their store and get the clothes and household items they need.
How you can help them in their mission:
Donate used clothing, knick-knacks, small appliances and household items to America’s Best Thrift Store. The store is located at 3015 Plains Blvd. Or call 806-376-1300 to arrange a pick up. (Each donation is tax-deductible and donation receipts are available.)
